Inspiration: The Photography Issue

It is my favourite time of the month- Nat Geo time! And not only that, but this month's issue is really exciting. Nat Geo is celebrating their 125th anniversary with this Collector's Edition Photography Issue. It speaks of the importance and power of photography. The article explains that photographers are doing more than just taking photos. It is not just about capturing a moment or documenting the things around us. These are a few of the quotes I really liked from the article:
"Photographers use their cameras as tools of exploration, passports to inner sanctums, instruments for change. Their images are proof that photography matters- now more than ever."
"By wresting a precious particle of the world from time and space and holding it absolutely still, a great photograph can explode the totality of our world, such that we never see it quite the same again."
